On the 31st of December we gather together to see the New Year in. We decorate our flat: decorate the Christmas Tree with lights, toys and different decorations. It is very beautiful and bright. We cook different cakes, salads and meals . We put the table, gather around it, fill in the glasses and when the arrows of the watch bumps 12:00 o’clock we congratulate each other After that we get our gifts from Santa Claus. He puts it behind the door, rings the door and goes on. We can’t see him because he leaves the house so fast. But we are very happy and glad to get gifts from Santa.
On the 6th of January we celebrate Christmas in my uncle’s home, beacause on that day is the birthday of my uncle. We gather together and celebrate two birthdays: my uncle’s and holly Jesus.
We celebrate Christmas twice a year: on the 25th of December like Europeans and on the 6th of January
like Armenians. We cook Christmas pudding, prepare some tasty food and decorate the Christmas Tree. We decorate it with beautiful balls and blue and purple lights. We like to decorate the Christmas Tree together with all family. At night, when we wish Happy New Year and Marry Christmas to each other we go to bed and in the morning we find our gifts in front of the Christmas Tree. I like New Year because every year it becomes more and more interesting and I get better gifts than before.
Hello I’m Hayk Jahangiryan. We celebrate the New Year on the 31st of December. We design the Christmas Tree joyfully, put presents under the Christmas Tree and are gather together to celebrate Christmas and New year.
